WooCommerce integration
You own the site, so nobody hands you a delivery workflow with it. This connection is being built so a WooCommerce order becomes a shipment without a plugin graveyard behind it, the order status in WordPress tells the truth, and the cash collected at the door is matched back to the order that generated it.
This connection is planned and not available yet. Nothing described below works today. Every line of it is how the connection will behave once we switch it on.
A new order on your site becomes a shipment with the billing and shipping details, the payment method and the amount to collect when it is cash on delivery. Orders from your site sit in the same queue as anything you take by phone or by message, because the driver does not care where the order was typed.
Dispatched, delivered, refused and returned update the order in your WooCommerce admin, so the status a customer sees in their account page matches the status your driver reported. Your own reports keep working, because the record stays where it always was.
The customer gets a WhatsApp message in Arabic or English and a tracking page carrying your site name and colours. It is the same brand they bought from, which is the whole reason you run your own store rather than sell on a marketplace.
What was collected is posted against the WooCommerce order number and against the driver holding it, and a partial payment or a return is recorded as its own event rather than a note in a comment field. At the end of the week you know what was collected, what is still with a driver and what a carrier has not yet paid over.
