- How does QuickE keep a chain of custody for a pharmacy delivery?
- A chain of custody is the record of who held an item at every point between the pharmacy and the patient. In QuickE the shipment is scanned at pickup, each handover is recorded with the time and place, and the signature, photo and one time code captured at the door are stored on the shipment record, retrievable by waybill number and exportable as one file.
- How do I make sure the delivery reaches the right person?
- Mark the shipment type as requiring verification. A one time code is then sent to the patient over WhatsApp, with SMS as the fallback, and the driver cannot complete the stop without entering it. A signature and a photo can be required on top of the code, set per merchant or per shipment type.
- Does QuickE monitor the temperature of a shipment?
- No. QuickE carries the handling requirement rather than measuring it. The note you write on the order, such as cold bag required or deliver within a window, is shown to the driver at pickup and at the door, and the proof you demand at handover is recorded. Refrigeration and temperature monitoring remain the job of your equipment.
- Can I limit which drivers carry restricted items?
- Yes. Assignment rules read the shipment type, so an order flagged as restricted is assigned only to drivers you have designated for it. If none of them is available the order waits visibly in the dispatch queue instead of being assigned to whoever is next.
- What does the patient receive on their phone?
- Delivery updates over WhatsApp with SMS as the fallback, a link to a tracking page carrying the pharmacy's name, and the one time code when the shipment requires one. The patient knows the order is out, when the driver is close, and what to read out at the door, in Arabic or English.
